What are Chemical Peels?
A chemical peel is a solution that’s applied to the skin which causes it to lift off and eventually shed the outer layer of skin. The fresh skin underneath is more smooth and less pigmented, making this procedure an appealing (haha) alternative to facial resurfacing.
What do they do?
Chemical peels can be applied to your face, neck or hands. They’re most commonly used for:
Reducing fine line wrinkles around your eyes and mouth
Reducing wrinkles from sun damage and aging
Fading mild scars
Treating acne
Reducing age spots, freckles, or dark patches
Improving the overall look and feel of your skin
